Situated in Kasane on the banks of The Chobe River and bordering
Chobe National Park is Chobe Safari Lodge. The lodge sits on the doorstep of
the meeting place of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe &
Zambia and is ideal to use as a base when planning activities such as Victoria
Falls day trips, a visit to Chobe National Park or a trip to Caprivi.
Chobe Safari Lodge has four types of accommodation available.
These rooms are the newest addition to the lodge. They are individually decorated and offer every comfort including air-conditioning, luxurious en-suite facilities, satellite television and a telephone. Each room also has its own patio which gives you the opportunity to enjoy the views of the river in the comfort of your room. These rooms are also in close proximity to the main complex.
These luxurious north-east facing twin bedded rooms offer air-conditioning, telephone, television and large en-suite bathrooms. Each room is equipped with two double beds and all have their own patio. The river rooms are attached to the main complex either by downstairs corridor or upstairs viewing deck. The riverside complex also has its own riverside garden where guests often take time to photograph the resident monkeys or mongoose.
One of Chobe Safari Lodge’s original accommodation types, these thatched rondavels are independently positioned close to the river in the lodge gardens. All of the rooms are air-conditioned, have en-suite bathrooms and a short walk away from the main complex.
The famous Chobe Safari Lodge campsite offers campers individual sites scattered amongst the riverine forest close to the Chobe River. Each site has its own power point and is close to one of the modern ablution facilities. The nearby Sedudu Bar overlooks the river and floodplains and is known in the region as “the” sundowner spot.
Due to its unique location Chobe Safari Lodge offers an array of activities including game drives into the Chobe National Park, sunset boat cruises, private boat hire, Victoria Falls day trips, fishing, scenic flights, Namibian Village walk and road and air transfers.
The lodge also has an impressive range of facilities that include the Sedudu Bar famous for its sunsets, Cocktail Bar which overlooks the Caprivi floodplains, the restaurant that features the indigenous and rich flavours of Africa, dinner boat cruises, activities centre, health & beauty salon, WIFI and a craft & curio shop.
